Additionally, you will be required to contribute to the identification and selection of potential solutions and collaborate in the evaluation and procurement process (defining requirements, defining selection criteria, evaluating proposals). More specifically, you will be expected to: - Manage the deployment of wired and wireless connectivity infrastructures in the building (network framework, WiFi, IoT);- Manage the deployment of telecommunication infrastructures in the building (service entrances, DAS, 5G, mast, and rooftop antennas);- Manage documentation related to deployed infrastructures (engineering plans, quotes, certification) and maintain an inventory of telecommunication agreements;- Oversee continuous monitoring and maintenance of building connectivity;- Supervise the delivery of tenant connectivity infrastructures and digital services provided to tenants by the property management teams;- Produce feasibility and cost-benefit analyses for initiatives when required;- Assist property management teams in creating CAPEX/OPEX budgets;- Act as the primary point of contact for various technology vendors and partners;- Collaborate with the Information Technology department to ensure cybersecurity measures are in place and aligned with corporate objectives;- Perform any other related tasks. The key to success- University degree in a relevant discipline or relevant experience compensating for the absence of such a degree;- Five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in managing and deploying connectivity infrastructures (IT) and operational building technologies (OT);- Familiarity with building systems (building automation, lighting, security, etc.) concerning their connectivity and functional requirements;- Experience in commissioning, troubleshooting, and technical support;- Experience in managing vendors (managed services, external suppliers);- Comfortable collaborating with multiple stakeholders;- Ability to explain technological principles in simple terms;- Bilingual (French and English) both oral and written; Oral and/or written interactions with external partners based outside Quebec (service providers, law firms, peers, bankers, brokerage firms, credit analysis firms, credit agencies, etc.);- Independent, organized, and effective at managing priorities;- Creative and innovative;- Meticulous and rigorous;- Analytical thinking;- Ability to work in a team;- Customer service-oriented (aiming for the "wow" effect);- Ability to simplify technical information;- Comfortable communicating with individuals at all levels of hierarchy;- Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and timely and promote the exchange of information in a constructive manner;- Tolerance for ambiguity and the ability to function effectively in less-defined situations.
