The goal is to engage with their Gen Z target demographic through social media based campaign that encourages people to have and purchase local, nutritious, delicious and locally farmed milk by Ontario farmers. How? MilkUp will set up a marking hub of dairy vendors and products that people will be able to engage and get free merchandise from if they post on IG with our brand tagged. This is a fun post to pay engagement initiative that is being set up in major cities - Toronto, Ottawa, Kingston, London, Hamilton. Key Details **Title**:  Brand Ambassador **Brand you’re Representing**: MilkUp **Events**: Big Moo’d Mobile Market **Hours**: Part Time **Dates and Available Shift Times**: September 10th & 11th - 10:00AM-6:00PM **Location**: 248 Ontario St, Kingston, ON K7L 5P7 **Pay Rate**:  Brand Ambassador - $25/hour **Number of roles**: 6 Job Overview and Roles Roles include engaging people in our market set up with to help create buzz and build our social media presence You will ensure attendees have followed Milk Up on IG to enter and explain that if they curate a post about the market, they will be able to enter our hub to check out a cool art installation, vendor samples and free branded gifts You will also support in distributing some free merchandise such as posters, hats, tote bags etc and monitor the amounts of merchandise shared Assisting with various tasks as needed to support all of our local vendors Engaging consumers and sharing client messaging at our various touchpoints at our marketing hub QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE - Entertaining, High-Powered, Approachable & Sociable, able to engage with new crowds of people - Able to maintain high energy/stamina levels for 7-12 hour shifts (please let us know if you need accommodations here) - Comfort and good understanding of social media is a strong asset - Previous BA experience or experience with crowd facing roles will be considered an asset for the role - Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to draw a crowd to sample product / attention getter - Reliable and Punctual - Previous promotional, brand ambassador and/or customer service experience is an asset - Ability to lift up to 40lbs. while helping with event setup and tear down - Access to a reliable source of transportation to and from the venue HOW TO APPLY - Kingston"
