**Job Description**:
As the Assistant Manager, Catering Sales, you will participate in meeting department sales goals and revenues for Scotiabank Arena, RS and e11even by seeking out new business, building on existing business and assisting in the development and implementation of revenue-generating initiatives.
- Prospect new markets to drive revenues.
- Handle incoming catering sales inquiries, coordinate contracts and any other activities related to the file.
- Develop existing database of clientele.
- Assist in development and implementation of sales and marketing plan strategies.
- Coordinate, attend and provide support to team on internal and external site visits/luncheons/entertaining events with clients.
- Liaise and work with other MLSE business units regarding promotions, corporate sponsors benefits, promotional efforts, partnerships and special events to drive food and beverage sales at Scotiabank Arena, RS and e11even.
- Lead and/or assist with internal events.
- Attend exhibit trade shows/industry events as the need arises.

**Qualifications**:

- 3+ years of sales success in a team environment, preferably from within the hospitality industry
- Energetic, personable and driven
- Ability to multi task and handle a broad spectrum of events simultaneously
- Exceptional interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
- An ongoing awareness and responsiveness to client satisfaction
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as the need arises
- A high energy, client service attitude
