**POSITION OVERVIEW**

Meditek is looking for a detailed and quality-conscious individual to manage all aspects of:
1. Shipping & Receiving

2. Inventory Control

3. Warehouse Organization and Management

A summary of this role is that it oversees handling the flow of goods right from supplier-to-customer dock and everything in between which means receiving and un-packaging, labelling, placing in storage, preparing for shipment, coordinating all courier/freight logistics, controlling the inventory, and maintaining an organized warehouse.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- SHIPPING AND RECEIVING_
- Oversee and coordinate the flow of all products related to the sales and operations of the company.
- Continuously improve the processes and systems to improve efficiency, reduce costs and obtain/deliver goods in a prompt and timely manner.
- Receive, un-package, and sign-off on incoming shipments, directing them to their appropriate next destination.
- Package and prepare outgoing shipments to customers and any returns to vendors. Preparing a shipment includes cleaning product where necessary and final inspection to ensure there are no defects or problems.
- Maintain adequate supplies for all shipping and receiving activities such as crating materials, boxes, tape, waybills, stickers, envelopes, etc.
- Manage freight claims for goods damaged in transit.
- Manage courier/freight/customs broker vendors and regularly review pricing structures to ensure best possible pricing and service.
- Coordinate and schedule all outbound shipping ensuring timely delivery of goods to customers. Communicate with customers to ensure the smooth receiving of goods at customer location.
- INVENTORY CONTROL_
- Manage the physical storage and organization of inventory, both equipment and parts.
- Assemble parts kits for equipment rebuild technicians.
- Provide, assign, and track parts used for all service tickets and equipment rebuilds.
- Label products when received and efficiently process to storage.
- Label products as required when shipped. Record necessary information such as serial numbers. Ensure necessary products have appropriate labelling.
- Maintain min/max levels by purchasing parts and supplies from vendors as necessary.
- WAREHOUSE_
- Responsible to maintain the warehouse in a clean organized matter.
- Allocate physical storage space and ensure efficiency with operations.

**YOU WILL BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU HAVE**:

- Experience in working with customs and freight companies
- Solid knowledge of freight codes, NAFTA, customs, duty, importing, etc.
- Experience with QuickBooks
- Good communication and organization skills
- A willingness to manage freight vendors as well as work hands on in the physical packaging and crating of shipments
- Forklift license

Options exist for full time, part time, or fixed term contract.
