**MAJOR ACTIVITIES**:

- Receives and checks incoming supplies against packing slips and purchase orders for

proper shipment, shortages, damage in transit, etc.
- Place material in proper bins, racks, etc. or communicates receipt of material to

appropriate individuals.
- Controls stock room inventory by performing periodic cycle counts.
- Operates mechanical equipment as required for unloading, loading, moving or storing

materials.
- Prepares and maintains various computerized financial, purchasing, inventory and

storeroom reports, records, etc. as required.
- Expedite deliveries of materials and equipment by contacting vendor.
- Schedule Principal Supply receipts as directed by the Material Manager.
- Performs other miscellaneous responsibilities as required.

**MINOR ACTIVITIES**:

- Maintains storehouse in clean and orderly fashion.
- Prepares daily reorder report for storeroom inventory movements.
- Maintains department files.
- Operates personal computer daily.
- Prepares shipping documents and arranges shipment of miscellaneous items.
- Prepares purchasing documents as directed by Material Manager or Material Supervisor.

**BASIC SKILL REQUIREMENTS**:
1 Excellent communication skills

2 Good attitude and ability to provide good courteous customer service.

3 Must work well and efficiently on your own and with others.

4 Must have basic computer skills and have worked with Microsoft Office programs
