We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual with a machining background to join our team as an Estimator/Customer Relations specialist. If you have hands-on experience in machining and are looking to take on a new challenge, we’re here to train you in estimating while utilizing your existing skills.

As an Estimator/Customer Relations specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

- Processing RFQs (Requests for Quotation) based on customer-supplied engineering drawings
- Working with vendors to secure material pricing
- Collaborating with co-workers to develop and implement effective quoting strategies
- Building estimates in ERP software (E2 Shop Systems experience is an asset)
- Maintaining and nurturing existing customer relationships
- Updating estimates based on data collection and project changes
- Working closely with the operations manager to provide accurate lead times to customers
- Actively contributing to weekly management meetings
- Identifying and developing new customer relationships and business opportunities

**Qualifications**:

- More than 5 years of experience working as a machinist (manual & CNC)
- CNC programming experience is an asset
- Familiarity with materials used in the manufacturing industry
- Confidence in using computer systems (experience with E2 Shop Systems is a plus)
