**Hours of Work**:Casual and Part Time positions available
Reporting to the Director of Properties, this position is responsible for general cleaning tasks, large cleaning projects and project-based cleaning within the YWCA. This position will also work closely with Women’s Housing to clear items from rooms and prepare rooms for move-in.
**Responsibilities**:
- Common areas (hallways, lobbies, waiting areas, café seating areas, outdoor seating spaces) Office and administrative spaces
- Meeting and conference rooms
- Restrooms (stocking supplies, deep cleaning, sanitization)
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness throughout the day to support a professional appearance and safe environment
- Set up tables, chairs, and AV equipment for meetings and events as per provided layouts or instructions
- Take down and clean meeting spaces promptly after events, ensuring rooms are ready for the next use
- Respond to service requests and facility needs during business hours in a timely and courteous manner
- Monitor and restock cleaning and bathroom supplies as needed
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages
- Ensure garbage and recycling in common areas are collected and disposed of appropriately
- Perform occasional light maintenance or support duties (e.g., moving equipment, putting away deliveries)
- Follow all health and safety guidelines and protocols
- Other duties as assigned
**Qualifications**:
- Working from a feminist, anti-oppressive / anti-racist perspective
- WHIMIS Certificate or willingness to obtain
- Must be able to provide a Criminal Record Check
- Previous experience in commercial housekeeping, janitorial services, or facilities support is an asset.
- Ability to work efficiently in high-traffic areas without disrupting daily operations.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Comfortable with physical tasks including lifting (up to 40 lbs), bending, standing, and moving equipment
- Ability to work independently with good communication and customer service skills
- Flexibility to support facility needs, including occasional task variations.
- Experience using commercial cleaning equipment is an asset.
- Computer literacy required
**YWCA Regina Employment Benefits (depending on position offered)**:
- 4% Employer RRSP Contribution-set up by employee-after three months in position-no match required
