Be capable to execute his job under pressure, and work well in a fast paced environment No experience necessary Fantastic work ethic with an upbeat and positive attitude A team player mentality Easy to get along with and loves meeting new people Have SIR / Responsible Service BC **Summary of Position**: Provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional experience for all of our guests. Each server’s primary objective is to show our guests such marvelous time, they will want return again and again. Duties & Responsibilities: - YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY IS TO PROVIDE EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE TO OUR GUESTS. - Smile, smile, and smile. - Clear and reset tables - Wipe and sanitize tables - Using the diswasher - Deliver food and beverages from kitchen and bar to guests in a timely manner - Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment - Be ready and willing to assist fellow staff as situations arise. - Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return. - Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor. **Qualifications**: - Be 19 years of age. - Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of guests. - Must have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions. - Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate point-of-sale system. - Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours) - Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food frequently weighing up to 20 to 25 pounds. **Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual Pay: $17.85-$20.00 per hour **Benefits**: - Casual dress - Discounted or free food - Store discount Ability to commute/relocate: - Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) Licence/Certification: - Serving It Right (preferred) Work Location: In person
