Enthusiastic Photographer/photobooth Attendant

Looking for a Photographer with **PHOTOGRAPHY EXPERIENCE** for gig based work. **You are required to have your own camera, and must have experience with headshots and/or event photography. MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK SEP 11.** This is a contract/gig based role with occasional shifts. **ABOUT THE COMPANY** Polar Ice Photobooth is an upscale photo booth company that specializes in corporate events and weddings. We specialize in aesthetically appealing set ups, so we're looking for people that have an eye for high standards of visual appeal. We‘ve done corporate events for some big brands including Delta Air Lines, Amazon, Cashmere Tissue Fashion Show, Invictus Games, Pepsi Co, and others. **WHY WORK FOR US** Polar Ice Photobooth is run by a young and energetic team that values each and every employee. Asides from that, we are FUN to work with, and love doing team socials **WHAT IS THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES** You will be the energetic representative of our company and will be trained to set up lighting and camera equipment for a photoshoot, and take pictures. Additional tasks ad/hoc tasks as required. - Arrive at the event venue - Set up backdrop - Set up light stands and lighting, ensure all godox flashes are synced to same channel - Set up camera, tethered to a laptop or other device - Pose various guests that come into the photo op - Rub off your **high-energy** on the guests and assist them in taking awesome pictures - Take down equipment/backdrop - Commitment is **flexible**: - Represent the brand in an energetic and positive manner **WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR** - **MUST BE AVAILABLE Sep 11th and 26th**: - **Must be available to train/practice at least one day before Sep 11**: - Must have valid G or G2 license and access to a vehicle is required, must be willing and able to drive to events in GTA - Experience in a customer service environment is a huge asset - Be able to show a HUGE smile and demonstrate enthusiasm - Must be "tech-savvy" with and able to comfortable diagnose technical issues such as printer connections and wifi troubleshooting - Eye for clean, elegant setups **COMPETENCIES** - Attendance/Punctuality: must be present and on time, if not, early for all events - Enthusiasm & Customer Service: must be super enthusiastic to represent our brand and able to provide to make people feel happy with your awesome customer service - Technical familiarity/problem solving: must be good with technology to diagnose problems that may arise - Responsive: must be responsive in a timely manner to inquiries and scheduling requests **PAY** $60-$80 an hour. **APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS** **Job Types**: Part-time, Casual Pay: $60.00-$80.00 per hour Expected hours: 6 - 16 per week Additional pay: - Bonus pay - Commission pay **Benefits**: - Company events - Flexible schedule - On-site parking Flexible language requirement: - French not required Schedule: - Evening shift - Weekends as needed - Weekends only Application question(s): - Do you have access to a vehicle? - If you are at an event and an image isn't printing, what would you do? - a) Can you please describe your photography experience? b) What kind of camera do you have experience with? c) Please share a link to your portfolio(s) showing any headshot and/or event photography. - Are you available to work on Sep 11th and Sep 26th?
