We focus on the design, permitting, and construction of commercial, industrial, dealership, aviation, recreational, first nations, and seniors assisted living developments in Western Canada. We are a proud partner of the Permasteel Group of Companies which has been in business since 1953. Our offices are located in Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, Fort McMurray. Our goal is to meet with clients who are considering a new building, educate them about the construction process as it applies to their ideas, advise them as to the type of construction that best suits their needs, and establish a price for construction that best serves their resources.

**Role Overview**
In this role your overall responsibility as Project Coordinator is to assist in the planning, estimating, contracts management, scheduling, invoicing, and project administration for all aspects of the construction process which includes but not limited to the following:
- Excellent computer skills including experience using MS Office, Project, Scheduling and Project Management software, Procore an asset but not mandatory
- Assisting in tendering, negotiating and preparation of subcontracts and purchase orders not provided by pre-construction services
- Ongoing monitoring, document control and processing of plans, specifications, shop drawings and other submittals as required
- Review, action and respond to daily project correspondence
- Receipt, logging and distribution of drawings specifications, shop drawings, schedules, contemplated change orders, change orders, site instructions, consultant reports, concrete tests and materials tests, inspection reports and RFI’s
- Assist project managers in receiving information from site concerning material shortages, identifying specific items, ordering, and expediting replacement materials
- Approval of supplier material and subcontractor invoices as required
- Ensure that project binders and appropriate project cloud filing systems are organized
- Prepare and maintain concrete log as required
- Assist in the monthly cost forecast
- Attend and prepare meeting minutes as required for all bi-weekly subcontractor meetings as required
- Prepare, monitor, update and track the project construction schedules
- Identifying, logging, providing proper notice for and the preparation and pricing of costs and potential delay claims as required
- Receipt, distribution, timely pricing of contemplated change orders
- Coordinate and obtain occupancy documentation and substantial completion certificates
- Carry out site inspections and other site related duties
- Provide feedback of project review and historical data to the estimating department for the post-mortem meeting
- Document control and chronological photographic record of the entire project.
- You will have excellent reporting, communication and interpersonal skills and be able to analyze and manage risk, be innovative, detail oriented and able to multitask and work well within tight deadlines.
