Overview:

**Responsibilities**:

- Must be familiar with Municipal, Commercial, Industrial, Residential asphalt patching practices.
- Operates packer to compress asphalt to maintain a smooth surface.
- Able to rake, shovel and operate skidsteer when required.
- Operation of company vehicle.
- Must have the initiative, ability and willingness to perform and assist with other job positions - plate tamping, hand tamping etc.
- Take action to avoid potential hazards or obstructions.
- Daily maintenance of equipment including fluids and water systems.
- Will be required to preform multiple tasks which may include general clean up, fencing and removal, slurry sealing, crack fillingetc.
- Follows all safety, compliance and environmental requirements in alignment with company standards.

Qualifications:
- Ability to operate various screeds on Cat and Vogele pavers.
- Able to achieve desired grade and depth when placing asphalt.
- Class 5 license and own means of transportation is required.
- Able to work long hours and weekends.
- Ability to work with a group or alone.
