Our members include wholesalers, manufacturers, contractors, and other professionals with an interest in this industry and improving its impact on the environment. Canada’s national HVACR trade association is seeking a **HVACR Technical Advisor** to support technical and regulatory matters related to the HVACR sector for environmental and energy standards at the federal and provincial level. We hope that our search ends with you.

**What will you do?**
- Review impact of proposed standards, codes, federal and provincial regulations related to products of the HVACR industry as defined by the HRAI membership.
- Research and compose Comment Letters and Position Statements.
- Collaborate with HRAI members and staff to formulate HRAI positions on technical matters.
- Represent member interests before federal, and provincial regulatory agencies and code writing bodies.
- Lead various task teams.

**What will you need to succeed?**
- An uncanny ability to transform complex policies, regulations, and trends into clear and actionable recommendations based on your governmental an industrial fluency, experience, and insight.
- A magnetic force for building alliances and key relationships inside and outside of the organization.
- A knack for getting things done

**Must have experience and education**:

- Bachelor's Degree preferred. Major in science, engineering, or policy field.
- Relevant work experience or graduate studies in this field.
- An understanding of ‘environmental ‘and ‘energy efficiency’ regulations and related codes & standards.
- Knowledge of the HVACR industry and Building and Fire Code regulations would be helpful
