Kitchener, Canada Angstrom Engineering Full time

At Angstrom Engineering, we sell industry-leading thin film deposition systems that can be

custom designed and are assembled on-site by a team of engineers and technicians who

prioritize quality, service, and performance above all else.

We are a growing company looking to break into new markets and to increase our international

presence. To assist us in meeting our goals we are looking for an Electrical Technician to join

while also showing a keen interest in learning new technologies and taking ownership of

improving products and processes.

**SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Electrical Panel Layout and Design
- Electrical wiring of control panels and sub-plates in accordance with the electrical

drawings.
- Installation and field wiring of control panels into the overall system.
- All wiring to be done in accordance with CSA standards
- Test/troubleshoot complex electrical circuits
- Responsible to maintain a clean working environment.
- General shop maintenance as required.
- Work with team members to continuously improve methods of building and wiring PVD

equipment, with the goals being enhanced functionality and reduced cost.
- Ability to take initiative to stay on top of things to allow work to flow smoothly in a busy

work environment

**QUALIFICATIONS OVERVIEW**:

- Post-secondary education in electrical technician or equivalent.
- Strong electrical aptitude with experience in electrical wiring and troubleshooting.
- Resourceful with a proven ability to complete tasks.
- Good work ethic with a positive attitude and desire to work as a team.
- Work in a manner that garners respect from your peers and makes others around you

better.

package including benefits. The position requires limited to no travel and is a day shift Monday

to Friday with some overtime.
