To assist us in meeting our goals, we are on the lookout for a Human Resources leader to help us to
develop our practices and procedures, benefits, and payroll system/HRIS system.

**SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS
- Analyze metrics and propose strategies to improve employee engagement,

productivity, and retention. Keep a pulse on the most innovative people
- practices- Facilitate new employee recruitment and assist department managers in the hiring
- process. Enhance new employee on boarding process- Develop and implement Human Resources policies and practices by researching

current trends, adhering to Labour Law requirements to ensure equity among
employees and promote growth.
- Oversee benefits and compensation policies
- Responsible for payroll administration including maintenance of employee payroll

data and processing of bi‐weekly pay runs and the preparation of annual T4
information
- Lead health and safety program, coordinate and facilitate meetings, manage WSIB

claims and return to work process
- Coordinate training activities
- Responsible for the administration of the employee benefit programs
- Oversee general office management for items such as company events and
- employee appreciation initiatives- Be well‐versed in applicable employment standards laws, Human Rights regulations,

occupational health and safety legislation, data protection regulations and other
related employment legislations and HR compliance requirements.

**QUALIFICATIONS OVERVIEW**
- 3+ years of progressive HR / People experience preferably in the tech industry or an

organization with a strong reputation for industry leading HR practices
- Passion for exceptional talent acquisition and talent management strategies
- Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Compassionate with a deep interest in contributing to the success of others
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Clear, honest and direct communicator
- Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Behavior, Human Resources, Talent Management,
- or similar- Professional designation is an asset
