We are currently looking for **Containment Inspector **to join our team In this role you would support production by supplying materials as needed, to the Production team. We are located at **8271 Keele Street, Concord, Ontario (Nearest intersection is Keele/Langstaff)** **Shifts Available**: Morning Shift **6:30am-2:30pm** **Responsibilities**: - Perform inspections and sort parts/materials as detailed in instructions and in accordance with established practices. - Document inspection results in a clear, accurate, and neat manner. - Maintain inspection and test record files in a logical manner that promotes easy reference and retrieval. - Performing full rang inspection; mainly Visual and physical inspection of the parts. - Removes defective assembly parts from inventory. - Directs and reports defective parts to supervisor, thus determining if the part should be; recycled, scraped, or returned to supplier. - Accurately documents inspection results by completing daily reports and logs. - Maintains all reports and log sheets in an accurate and timely manner - Recognize and acknowledge that defective parts represent substantial losses to our company and take an active part in reducing and eliminating problems. - Ensure gauges and measuring tools are maintained in good working condition - Knowledge and understanding of relevant customer specific requirements - Must use or wear personal protective equipment and certain clothing as required by the company - Complete other duties as assigned by the Supervisor, including offering support to the production/welding departments - attention to details **Requirements and Qualifications** - Post-Secondary Education preferred; High School diploma required. - Training in Quality Assurance principles - 3 years related experience in Quality Assurance - 2 years "hands on" experience in automotive part metal stampings - Basic knowledge of IATF16949 and ISO9001 Quality Standards. - Knowledge in the use of a wide range of handheld measuring tools. - Full knowledge of steel grades (chemicals, mechanicals) - Ability to work in a team environment - Ability to lift up to 20 lbs - Ability to stand for longs periods of time **Benefits**: Extended Health and Dental Benefits after 3 months of employment **_(Includes prescription drugs, paramedical services, and vision care)_** - Paid sick days - Overtime is paid after 40 hours - Training and uniform are provide **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: Up to $18.00 per hour Additional pay: - Overtime pay **Benefits**: - Dental care - Extended health care - Paid time off - Vision care Schedule: - 8 hour shift **Experience**: - quality check: 1 year (preferred)
