The **Final Tester**is responsible for functional testing of boiler units and related assemblies in accordance with established procedures fully supporting and participating in promoting safety at all times.

**Shift** - 2nd Shift (Afternoons Monday to Thursday 4 pm to 2 am)

**Duties**:
Read and understand dimensional and electrical drawings to troubleshoot and correct operating deficiencies.

Must be knowledgeable of mechanical operations and be able to troubleshoot and correct deficiencies in piping, burner operations and other mechanical components.

Must be able to understand process sheets, identify exceptions and complete all necessary unit reports.

May be required to operate an overhead crane.

Will be required to use specific testing equipment such as high pot tester, fuel gas analyzer and vibration meter.

- Ability to read and understand dimensional and electrical drawings
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to understand and follow all test pit Standard Operating Procedures
- Electrical and mechanical aptitude
- Excellent eye for quality

Normal plant, shop, field or office conditions. From time to time, slightly disagreeable features. Negligible or no exposure.
