**Mandate**

**Responsibilities**
- Must keep accurate tracking of assignments and travel frequencies for our customers
- Must monitor all assigned trips
- Requires participation in improvement of long term solutions
- Manage crisis and emergencies
- Set the appointment for pick-ups and deliveries in a reasonable time window
- Advise clients of all schedule changes and travel orders
- Respond to customer inquiries
- Guide drivers regarding various issues, questions and other practices (such as time management, vacations, eliminating idling engine and eco energy solutions fuel consumption)
- Manage the performance of trucks and submit a performance evaluation when required
- Will be in charge of a fleet of drivers
- Manage the performance of trucks and submit an evaluation of driver performance

**Qualifications**
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Demonstrates leadership and entrepreneurship
- Excellent time and stress management skills
- Superior ability to multi-task and to prioritize
- Very good knowledge of best practices and industry standards
- Demonstrates a sense of autonomy

**Requirements**:

- College Degree and 5 years of experience in the transport industry
- Additional training in transportation management considered as an asset
- Strong computer skills, including standard business software such as Microsoft Office
