- **Environmental Scientist**, you will play an important role on a team whose work is essential to achieving this goal.**Job Description**:
- In this position, you’ll work field collecting and interpreting environmental data to support environmental assessments (Phase I and II ESA) and remediation programs, as well as reporting, data analysis and general due diligence works. You’ll assist with project management responsibilities and work closely with your team to deliver high-quality work to our clients.**You will also**:
- Effectively mentor junior staff in project management/task management skills while at the same time being mentored by more senior professionals
- Participate in all facets of contaminated site projects including Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) and remediation projects, field sampling, and reporting
- Conduct field (data-collection) programs involving sampling and monitoring of soil, groundwater, surface water, vapour, and remediation system operation and maintenance
- Prepare remedial options analyses, remedial action plans and associated design works
- Plan, report and track schedules and budget, all as part of project financial management

**Qualifications**
- Ideally 3-6 years of experience in contaminated site work including preliminary and detailed environmental site assessments, soil and groundwater sampling, and remediation programs
- Experience working in oil and gas, with an emphasis on upstream projects
- Able to work independently, including ability to work alone in remote locations and adapt to conditions/resources
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, geological science, or environmental science
- Professional status or eligibility for professional status with a professional organization (P.Eng., P.Geo., P.Ag., E.I.T., G.I.T., A.Sc.T preferred)
- Valid driver’s license for travel to job sites/clients-
