Concord, Canada Penn Engineered Fasteners Corp Full time

We are a specialized distributor of engineered fasteners to the automotive and industrial industry throughout North America, Asia and Europe. We currently have an opening for a **Warehouse Associate (Fulltime/Permanent)**

**Reports to**: Warehouse Supervisor

**Job Summary**

The Warehouse Associate will be trained in all areas of the warehouse and will be required to work in a variety of different areas as communicated by the Warehouse Supervisor/Lead Hand

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Ensure that customer orders are picked, packed, prioritized and accurately staged in designated shipping areas
- Ensure that product identity is maintained at all times
- Perform order processing through computerized inventory system and when required will perform picking and/or packing functions, as well as loading and unloading trucks as required
- Ensure that goods are inspected, received and entered into the system within twenty-four hours from time of receipt in accordance with ISO9001 policies and instructions
- Maintain work area in a clean and safe condition reporting any unsafe acts or conditions to Supervisor and complete checklists on machinery and equipment as required
- Scan product as instructed to ensure accurate inventory levels and report/investigate any discrepancies immediately
- Ensure that product supplied to customers meets standards with respect to quality, order accuracy, packaging quality and meets customer requests on orders requiring special identification and packaging.
- Properly record daily productivity sheets, maintain productivity requirements of position and contributes ideas in improving productivity results
- All other duties as assigned

**Employment Requirements**
- Basic computer skills.
- Must be Forklift Certified
- Must be height trained
- Experience on Cherry Picker

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
- Demonstrates a willingness to work in a team environment with an emphasis on co-operation with fellow peers, management and staff
- Good communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to establish priorities and proceed with objectives with mínimal supervision
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment

**Working Conditions**
Warehouse environment.
- Must be able to lift boxes/skids that weigh up to 50lbs.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Warehouse: 1 year (preferred)
- Order picking: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
