Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Food Processing Supervisor to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to process and handle food items efficiently and accurately within the warehouse environment. The Warehouse Food Processor will contribute to the smooth operations of our operations by ensuring the proper receiving, sorting, storage, and distribution of food products.

**Responsibilities**:

- Receive incoming food donations and verify their quantity and quality.
- Inspect food items for any signs of damage, expiration, or contamination.
- Sort and categorize food products based on their type, quality, and storage requirements.
- Process fresh food for freezing or other uses
- Properly store food items in designated areas, ensuring appropriate rotation and stock organization.
- Package food products in preparation for distribution, adhering to proper packaging guidelines and regulations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking quantities, expiration dates, and stock levels.
- Assist with inventory management, conducting regular stock checks and reporting any discrepancies.
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the warehouse environment.
- Collaborate with other warehouse team members to fulfill orders and ensure timely delivery to partner agencies.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, following safety guidelines and protocols.
- Participate in regular training sessions to enhance knowledge of food safety practices and warehouse operations.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a secure and hazard-free work environment.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or food processing role is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management and data entry.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Commitment to the mission and values of the food bank.

Working Conditions: The Warehouse Food Processor will primarily work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures. The position may require standing, bending, and lifting heavy objects. Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided and must be worn as required.
