First Fish is a non-profit organization in Toronto working with Indigenous communities across Canada to bring Wild-Caught Fish to the rest of Canada

At First Fish, we've made it our mission to provide our customers with the most responsibly sourced and sustainable seafood products available while supporting the communities it came from. All of our fish is wild, sustainable, and all caught by local Indigenous communities across Canada.

- Focused on driving sales and enhancing customer experience
- Strong customer service orientation with a focus on building relationships and providing solutions
- Passionate about the environment, indigenous rights and clean foods

**Responsibilities**
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of First Fish products to provide accurate information to new and existing customers to promote products
- Engage with customers to provide exceptional service and a positive shopping experience
- Utilize upselling techniques to drive sales opportunities while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction
- Handle transactions accurately using POS systems, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain organized documents and sales records
- All associated set-up and tear down activities at the Farmers Market booth
- Provide feedback to improve customer experience

**Qualifications**

- Able to lift 30lbs (required)
- Previous sales, customer service, or retail experience is an asset

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
