We are seeking a INTAKE COORDINATOR, DISABILITY CLAIMS to join our BPA team in Vaughn.

**Please note that the office location is currently Toronto (1263 Wilson Ave.); however, the office will be relocating to Vaughan (Langstaff Rd. & Highway 50) in the coming months.**
**Hours: 8:30am - 4:30pm with a rotational Saturday, 7am - 12:30pm shift (1-2 per month excluding long weekends).This position is 100% in-office.**
**The INTAKE COORDINATOR, DISABILITY CLAIMS will**:
- Receiving all incoming inquiries and correspondence related to disability benefits and services
- Confirming client eligibility to benefits and services
- Creating and maintaining case records within our claims database
- Assign new cases internally or coordinating internal or external referrals appropriately
**To be successful as a INTAKE COORDINATOR, DISABILITY CLAIMS **with BPA, you will need**:
- Post-secondary education or diploma in a medical or health-related discipline; or
- Minimum two years experience in a medical, benefits administration, or claims setting, and
- **Must be fluent in both English and Portuguese**
- Strong customer service focus
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with clients
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality in handling confidential medical information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and resolve conflict

- Computer literacy - MS Word, Excel, Outlook, etc
