**Role Overview**:
**The R&D Intern will support our IT-focused R&D team in identifying and substantiating R&D tax credit claims for our diverse clientele. **This role offers the chance to develop technical and professional skills in a supportive, team-based setting. Based in our Montreal office, this role will be mentored and guided by our Sr. SR&ED consultants and have an opportunity to learn the R&D credit, grants and be able to work directly with clients day to day. This role is optimal with backgrounds in STEM and those interested in working with scientific and technology-based clients as well as companies that operate in French. The length of the internship is a minimum of 6 months, but is eligible to extend based on the needs of the business.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Support the identification of activities eligible for the R&D tax credit while being supported by the Sr. Consultants.
- Assist in drafting R&D claims, including financial and taxation documentation and technical reports.
- Help in the preparation for and response to CRA audits.
- Participate in internal projects and collaborations with international teams.

**Requirements**:

- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of STEM based program with a high interest in IT.
- Previous internships or projects related to information technology is highly preferred.
- Basic knowledge of the IT industry is preferred.
- Strong interest in technology and ability to grasp technical concepts.
- **Ability to communicate in French and English, both written and verbally, is a requirement of the role.**:
