Project Manager, R&d Government Program and Higher

The R&D team is interfacing with internal stakeholders, such as Engineering, Finance, Legal, Human Resources, Communications, as well as with external stakeholders, such as Industry Partners, Academia, Government. **As a Project Manager in the Research and Development team, you will work closely with the project managers that make up the team on a wide range of tasks such as**: - Support the management of multiple, complex innovation-driven collaboration programs on quarterly and annual basis from scoping, technological eligibility analysis, financial forecasting, claim preparation, and audits. - Analyze trends, forecasts and statistics relating to R&D portfolio from a technical and financial perspective. Consolidate and synthetize findings into reports to be presented to various management levels. - Support and eventually lead program reviews, negotiations, and audits with internal and external stakeholders both governmental and non-governmental organizations. - Participate in the preparation business cases for opportunities aligned with CAE’s growth strategies. - Manage innovation-driven collaborations events, sponsorships, bursaries, and initiatives in support of CAE’s interaction/commitment with post-secondary institutions across Canada **Job Requirements** - Bachelor's in engineering, management, law or related disciplines. - Strong analytical skills and ability to abstract and summarize. - Experience in proposals and management of government programs (SR&ED, Multimedia Tax Credits, NSERC, MITACS, Investissement Quebec, and others) an asset. - Excellent communication and writing skills. - Resourcefulness and autonomy. - Ability to manage initiatives of different sizes in parallel. - Scientific curiosity and interest in cutting-edge technological developments. - Work experience in a technology sector or in consulting an asset. - Bilingualism (French and English). - Team spirit **CAE offers**: - Benefits: fully flexible for you to choose what is important - Retirement: Defined Benefits Retirement Plan & Group Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) - Financial Perks: Employee Stock Purchase Plan & numerous corporate discounts - Personal and Family Programs: Physical Wellness Plan & Supplementary Maternity Plan - Work-Life Balance: Flextime & California Fridays all year - Fun at work: social and community events all-year round LI-ND1 **Position Type** Regular CAE thanks all applicants for their interest.
