As a Trading Compliance Intern, you will help provide support to iA Private Wealth's Trading Conduct Compliance (TCC) Team. The TCC Team reviews all trading activity to make sure that it complies with securities rules and regulations. Our goal? To detect issues proactively to safeguard both our clients and our firm.

The individual will work with various members of the compliance department to document and support partners and colleagues to actively assist the team to add value to the business.

Here is a glimpse at what you will have the opportunity to do:

- Monitor daily trading activities to ensure they adhere to a set of compliance guidelines;
- Assist in preparing and submitting periodic compliance reports
- Review specific trade activities and determine if there’s any potential breaches or areas of concern;
- Stay updated on regulatory rules and decisions through diligent research;
- Review and record employee personal trading activity to ensure it is in line with iAPW policy and procedures and regulatory requirements;
- Understand, analyze, document and support compliance partners/users in clarifying their needs;

This position is a part-time contract during the school year and a full-time contract during the summer. We are looking for a commitment of 10 to 12 hours a week as part-time and 37.5 hours as full-time.

**We are looking for**:

- Second or third-year university student in finance or business;
- You have a positive attitude and you are eager to learn;
- You are detail-oriented and professional;
- You have a good knowledge of the Office suite with proficient Excel skills
- A fervent interest in both the financial markets and the world of trading
