**YMCA Camp Belwood: June 23, 2025 - August 22, 2025**

**Rate of Pay: $18.00/hour**

**Hours: 40 paid hours/week (8:30am-5:00pm) Mon-Fri (no evenings, weekends, or holidays)**

For almost 100 years, our camping department has operated overnight camps, giving children and youth an experience like none other. We play a leading role in providing quality camp experiences for children and extraordinary employment opportunities for young people. The YMCA of Three Rivers camps serve thousands of campers, hundreds of leadership trainees and employ hundreds of young leaders across our communities.
This is where you come in.

**What you will do**
- be a part of a seasonal team at one of our incredible overnight camps**:YMCA Camp Belwood** (Fergus, Ontario)
- **Work as an Inclusion & Wellness Support worker for children aged 4 - 14**to integrate all campers into the camp experience by supporting their needs and making accommodations (based on diagnoses or otherwise)
- **Utilize appropriate behaviour management strategies** to help campers feel supported during activities
- **Work one-on-one or in small groups** with campers each week who have identified needs and require additional support to participate in all camp activities

**What you will bring**:

- Commitment to working in a socially inclusive environment, responding with sensitivity and personal awareness to diverse needs
- Well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Use good judgement and problem solving skills
- Experience working with children or youth, or experience working in a camp setting an asset, but not required
- Will hold: current Standard First Aid with CPR-C
- Willing to obtain a Vulnerable Police Records Check if selected for a position
- Bronze Cross certification or NL (lifeguarding) certification an asset, but not required
