Junior Lab Assistant

**About the Role**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on **Junior Lab Assistant** to join our hardware development team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals passionate about hands-on assembly and laboratory work. You’ll play a key role in supporting the hardware assembly team, prototyping, testing, and maintenance of hardware components in a dynamic lab environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Assemble mechanical hardware using hand tools, scales and flow testing devices and software.
- Assist in testing and troubleshooting prototypes and production units.
- Maintain lab inventory and ensure availability of components and tools.
- Document assembly procedures, test results, and modifications.
- Support engineers and technicians during product development and testing.
- Ensure lab cleanliness and compliance with safety protocols.
**Qualifications**
**Required**:
- High school diploma or technical certificate in electronics, mechatronics, or a related field.
- Good understanding of electronics and mechanical systems.
- Experience using hand tools, scales, lap top computers, and other mechanical equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.

- Ability to read plans and diagrams.
- Previous experience in hardware assembly or lab support.
- Experience in laboratory settings is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
- Familiarity with quality control processes and methodologies.
- Proficient math skills for engineering calculations.

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
