Junior Lab Assistant

**About the Role**

We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on **Junior Lab Assistant** to join our hardware development team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals passionate about hands-on assembly and laboratory work. You’ll play a key role in supporting the hardware assembly team, prototyping, testing, and maintenance of hardware components in a dynamic lab environment.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Assemble mechanical hardware using hand tools, scales and flow testing devices and software.
  • Assist in testing and troubleshooting prototypes and production units.
  • Maintain lab inventory and ensure availability of components and tools.
  • Document assembly procedures, test results, and modifications.
  • Support engineers and technicians during product development and testing.
  • Ensure lab cleanliness and compliance with safety protocols.

**Qualifications**

**Required**

  • High school diploma or technical certificate in electronics, mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Good understanding of electronics and mechanical systems.
  • Experience using hand tools, scales, lap top computers, and other mechanical equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.

**Preferred**

  • Ability to read plans and diagrams.
  • Previous experience in hardware assembly or lab support.
  • Experience in laboratory settings is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
  • Familiarity with quality control processes and methodologies.
  • Proficient math skills for engineering calculations.
