As a Lab Technical Assistant, you will be responsible for the preparation, setup, and limited test processing of specimens in the laboratory, and help deliver better health outcomes for patients through the delivery of fast and accurate test results.
Status: Temporary Part Time (0.6 FTE)
Shift: Flexible shift required (variable between operational hours); Weekend required.

High School diploma with courses in post-secondary science or medical terminologyPrevious laboratory experience an assetAbility to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment while being detail oriented and hands onExcellent communication skills to enable you to relate with a wide variety of peopleStrong computer skills in MS Office productsProblem solving skills, including the ability to identify and follow-up on issues Ability to maintain the strictest standards of safety, patient privacy and confidentialityLifeLabs' compensation programs are commensurate based on the role, skill, effort, responsibility and working conditions, irrespective of gender, race, ethnicity, beliefs, age or any other personal characteristics.
