Salary:
Are you passionate about food technology? We're Foodee, a team of food experts on a mission to connect local restaurants to businesses through our meal planning platform. We help corporations spread the power of good food by curating menus from top local restaurants and delivering them to your office.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create a technology vision for Foodee aligned to business goals and technology trends.
- Identify, compare, select and implement technology solutions to meet current and future needs. These solutions may be to build, buy or partner.
- Scale the development team to 2-3x current size over next 12 months. Create the processes and infrastructure required to hire and manage a multi-location/time zone team.
- Develop, track and control the annual budgets for purchasing, staffing and operations of your team. Oversee hardware and infrastructure requirements for all of Foodee.
- Manage Product Development, Management and Design teams (including external contractors as required).
- Track, analyze and monitor technology performance metrics - specifically Velocity and Defect rate & DORA. Optimize sprint and QA processes where required.
- Balance feature development with required investment in maintenance and technical debt.
- Lead Data Security & Compliance initiatives.
- Contribute to Foodee's 1 and 3 year plans as a member of our leadership team. You'll lead the conversations on your area of responsibility, and be a collaborator in others.
- Partner with the Director of People Operations to ensure a successful recruiting and onboarding process for the open roles across your team.
- Manage and nurture employee engagement through performance management and development conversations/opportunities.
- Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in the technology landscape.

**Required Experience/Skills**:

- 10+ years experience managing software developers and technology teams
- Experience with building and managing a distributed development team
- Experience operating Scrum/Agile teams and methodology
- Experience implementing DORA or similar performance tracking systems
- Exemplifies a high degree of business acumen and executive presence
- Experience with SaaS company scaling from early stage to mid-size / enterprise (ideally Foodtech or B2B SaaS)
- Strong desire and track record of mentorship across product development, management and design
- Effective communication skills to translate complex technical concepts to stakeholders and non-technical staff
- Ability to build and cultivate environments that foster talents, innovation and delivery of effective development strategies
- Ability to anticipate and develop plans to address technological opportunities or changes to the technology landscape
