EDS strives to provide high quality technical services with concentrated focus on payment of service (POS) system, desktop and laptop support. We focus on services such as Break and fix, IMAC (Installs, Moves, Adds and Changes), professional laptop services and other general IT field service requirements.

Title: Field Service Technician

Location: Mississauga, ON

As a field service technician, you are part of our service providers team and you are passionate about providing exceptional customer service to our clients. You will perform basic trouble shooting and maintenance on POS systems, Desktop and Laptops. You will also assist with deployment and asset management activities. You will be responsible for addressing customers’ questions and providing adequate responses while focusing on customer satisfaction.

Your goal is to provide the best technical expertise and provide the right solution to every customer.

You have:

- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Time Management
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of networking and software management
- Basic computer skills
- Available between 8:00 - 18:00 EST
- Ability to lift 50-60 LBS
- Car and a valid Canadian Provincial driver’s license (G2 or higher)
- Flexibility and positive attitude
- Complete and turn in field reports that capture all time and work completed on site
- Provide diagnostic analysis, repair, or preventative maintenance to customers
- Complete on-site system audits and evaluations
- Practice and adhere to all safety and training

Nice to have:

- A+ certification

Essential functions of this position include travel and driving several hours, rotating shifts, carrying and lifting tools and equipment. As a field service technician you will be dispatched daily on a call-by-call basis to customer locations.
