**About the job.**

**This Position **ensures the smooth day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping department in support of and in the absence of the Housekeeping Manager. This role promotes personal empowerment and accountability, by establishing and enforcing service levels. This role acts as a trusted point of contact for staff and guests alike.

- The ability to communicate in a way that supports resolving misunderstandings
- Conscious of housekeeping resources + using resources wisely
- A desire to look out for others because teamwork means everything to you
- High physical capacity to get the job done
- Neat, clean, and friendly appearance
- Availability to work on evenings, weekends and/or holidays
- Open availability is preferred
- Own or have access to reliable transportation
- Known in your circles (of friends, family, and work) for being friendly, dependable, and reliable
- Minimum of 1 year of previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required
- Previous supervisory or management experience preferred
