Emapthway Services provide care and support to high-risk youth in residential group home settings. Our dedicated team works to create safe, supportive, and structured environments where young people can grow and thrive. Behind the scenes, we rely on strong administrative support to ensure our homes are staffed and payroll is accurate — and that’s where you come in.

**Position Summary**:
As the Payroll & Recruitment Administrator, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our operations running smoothly. You’ll be responsible for processing payroll through Payworks, managing employee records, and supporting the recruitment and onboarding of frontline staff across multiple group home sites.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Payroll (Approximately 60%)
- Process semi-monthly payroll for salaried, hourly, casual, and overnight staff using Payworks.
- Maintain up-to-date employee records, including hires, terminations, job changes, and leaves.
- Issue ROEs, T4s, and related documentation as required.
- Respond to employee and manager inquiries related to payroll and resolve discrepancies.

Recruitment (Approximately 40%)
- Coordinate interview scheduling and communicate with applicants.
- Support onboarding by collecting required documentation, initiating background checks, and preparing employee files.
- Work closely with hiring managers to ensure smooth hiring and staffing processes.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll administration.
- Proficiency in Payworks is required.
- Experience supporting recruitment or HR administration, preferably in social services or healthcare.
- Understanding of payroll legislation, employment standards, and confidentiality best practices.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
- Experience in a residential home setting or 24/7 shift-based setting is an asset.
- HR or payroll certification (PCP or equivalent) is an asset but not required.

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
