Moncton, Canada D&S Snow Removal Services Inc. Full time

We are looking for a dependable **Salt Truck Driver** to join our team for the winter season. In this role, you will be responsible for driving a salt truck to spread de-icing materials across parking lots, ensuring safe and clear surfaces during winter weather. Additionally, you will be tasked with loading the salt onto the truck using a tractor. This position will mainly involve driving the truck in the comfort of the vehicle, with mínimal exposure to the cold.

**Responsibilities**:

- Use a tractor to load salt onto the truck.
- Conduct pre
- and post-trip inspections of the truck and tractor to ensure proper functioning and safety.
- Monitor weather conditions and adjust salting routes as needed.
- Keep accurate records of salt usage and areas treated.
- Maintain the truck and tractor equipment in good working order.
- Work independently to ensure timely and effective salting of parking areas.

**Requirements**:

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience operating a salt truck or similar vehicle is preferred.
- Experience with tractor operation for loading salt is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, nights, and weekends during winter weather events.
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols.
