**Overview**

**Duties**
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and conditions.
- Utilize osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT) techniques to alleviate pain and improve function.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in acute care, hospital settings, and home care environments.
- Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems such as Cerner or Epic.
- Engage in research activities to stay updated on the latest advancements in osteopathy and pain management.
- Provide education to patients regarding their conditions, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.

**Requirements**:

- Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid license to practice osteopathy in Ontario
- Proficiency in medical terminology related to various specialties
- Experience in a medical office or hospital setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic health record system
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex medical concepts to patients clearly.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and research in the field of osteopathy.
- A compassionate approach to patient care with a focus on holistic treatment methods.
