JOB PURPOSE:
Enoch Cree Nation is building a Recovery Community, consisting of a $35 million dollar treatment facility and a comprehensive, end-to-end continuum of Indigenous addiction and mental health services rooted in culture, ceremony and spirituality. Enoch’s Recovery Community Transitional (RCT) Housing program will be an extension of the Maskekosihk Recovery Community by joining the many skills and attributes of the Wellness Branch services.

RCT is a fully furnished, safe and supportive housing program designed to bridge the gap between an intensive recovery community setting and mainstream society for individuals over the age of 18, recovering from substance use disorder. Inclusive by nature, the program will encompass First Nation world view into case management perspective and day to day home rhythms, where participants will continue to heal while reintegrating into everyday life.

The RCT Program Supervisor plays an integral role in this innovative continuum of services. Supporting the implementation of it’s strategic and operational plan by blending leadership, coordination, and direct engagement to promote successful participant outcomes and team cohesion.

Duties include yet not limited to:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the RCT Housing program, ensuring a safe, structured, and supportive livingenvironment for participants transitioning from treatment to independence.
- Support the coordination of program activities and ensure participants adhere to recovery-focused guidelines.
- Supervise and mentor all support staff, ensuring coverage and consistency in service delivery.
- Serve as the primary contact for staff, participants, and external partners to address concerns or resolve issues.
- Assist participants in creating and tracking personalized recovery plans in collaboration with recovery coaches and/orcounsellors.
- Coordinate cultural and spiritual supports by collaborating with Elders, knowledge keepers, and community partners.
- Partner with visiting Elders and knowledge keepers to ensure participants have access to cultural and spiritual supports.
- Organize and promote participation in cultural events and ceremonies that reinforce participants’ connection to Indigenousidentity and traditions.
- Facilitate workshops or collaborate with wellness branch services to provide training on financial, literacy, cooking,employment readiness, and interpersonal communication.
- Support participants build essential skills to promote long-term independence and recovery.
- Monitor the physical condition of the facility, ensuring it is clean, secure, and conducive to recovery.
- Oversee security measures, including maintaining a secure fob access system for participants.
- Support the management of scheduling the office and or facility usage, group activities, and meetings.
- Assist participants with aftercare planning, including securing permanent housing, employment, or ongoing recoverysupport.
- Support in the coordination and promotion of recovery-focused programming, such as social outings, group activities, andcommunity-building events.
- Maintain accurate records of program outcomes, participant progress, and staff activities.
- Ensure compliance with housing standards, HR policies, and funding guidelines.
- Report program updates and outcomes to the RCT Program Manager and/or the Senior Manager of the Wellness Branch ona regular basis.
- Provide open communication and collaboration among team members and participants.
- Coordinate training opportunities for staff on recovery-focused practices and trauma-informed care as needed.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS:

- A bachelor’s degree in Addictions, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3years of experience in recovery housing, addiction services, or transitional housing programs.
- Knowledge of substance use recovery processes, Indigenous cultural practices, and trauma-informed care.
- Understanding of housing challenges, and the challenges faced by marginalized communities.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle is required
- Satisfactory Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check
- Training in Naloxone Administration/ Seizure Protocol
- Will have and maintain current First Aid and CPR certification.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
The Supervisor will work in an office environment and is required to work the hours of 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours to accommodate a 24/7 operational schedule, while adhering to the ECN’s Human Resources Policy & Procedures.
