This is a **Seasonal Position** from April to October.
FOH Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day functions of our restaurant Food & Beverage Department. The FOH Supervisor will be responsible for hiring, training and oversight of restaurant staff, along with, private parties and other events. This position will report directly to our Head Chef.
**Responsibilities**
We are urgently seeking an experienced FOH Supervisor to oversee day to day FOH operations. This position reports directly to our Head Chef.
As the supervisor, you will manage the day-to-day operations and be responsible for ensuring the delivery of exceptional guest experiences, while effectively forecasting, planning, training, managing and scheduling FOH staff.
Your primary objective will be to maximize sales and revenue by consistently meeting and exceeding customer expectations, fostering employee engagement, and maintaining a strong focus on quality and efficiency.
By implementing innovative strategies and maintaining high standards, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our F&B department and enhancing overall guest satisfaction.
**Requirements and Skills**
- Experience working in both a fine dining and casual restaurant bar environment is preferred
- Must possess superior verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate extreme organization in a fast-paced environment
- Maintaining good customer and public relations within the community
- Ensure that guests have a positive and memorable experience each and every time they visit
- Ensure proper compliance with cash control procedures, and performs related accounting and administrative reports as required
- Manage Daily Operations and POS functions
- Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
- Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
- Mastery in delegating multiple tasks
- Communication and leadership skills
- Comply to Heath & Safety regulations
**Education and Experience**
- 3 years experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area is an asset
- 2-year diploma from an accredited college in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration is an asset
- WSET Intermediate Wine Certificate or comparable an asset
**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Port Severn, ON L0K 1S0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- FOH Supervisor: 2 years (preferred)
- Hospitality: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Smart Serve (required)
