**Job Overview**
We are seeking a **dedicated and** **safety-conscious Abatement Worker to join our team, General Labor, Drywaller,Demoliotion and Restoration Technician.**
**Responsibilities**
- Conduct thorough inspections of work sites to identify hazardous materials requiring abatement.
- Safely remove and dispose of hazardous substances, including asbestos, lead, and mold, following proper protocols.
- Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to all safety regulations during abatement processes.
- Prepare work areas by setting up containment barriers and ensuring proper ventilation.
- Document all work performed, including materials removed and disposal methods used.
- Knowledge in installing and finishing drywall.
- Have experience in cleaning, repairing, rebuilding and implementing safety measures to prevent further damage.
- Knows how to dismantle and remove structures including building foundations and natural environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay updated on safety practices and regulatory changes.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in abatement or a related field is preferred but not required; training is available.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to hazardous material handling is a plus.
- Ability to pass required background checks and certifications.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials as needed.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work in various environmental conditions.
