We are growing Armacell Canada Inc has an immediate need for 1 Quality Technician to join our team

Summary of Basic duties / Responsibilities
- Preparation of test samples to defined procedures.
- Inspection and testing of raw materials, work-in-process, & finished products.
- Use of various laboratory & production product quality measurement tools, software and analytical test equipment and other lab apparatus.
- Product Test Measurement data collection, entry, and analysis (graphical & statistical); using MS Excel & Minitab.
- Preparation of test reports for internal and external use and creation of test certificates.
- Maintain laboratory equipment/instruments and ensure that inspection measuring, and test equipment consistently meets specified measurement requirements.
- Calibration of measuring and other lab equipment.
- Prepare SOP and work instructions for Lab test procedures (SOPs and OPLs).
- Internal Auditing of Business & Manufacturing Processes.
- Requires handling of finished goods (lifting, bending and pushing boxes boxes)
- Able to use Vernier Calipers, micrometers, plug gauges and other related instruments
- Provide all necessary information for quality control and quality assurance purposes
- Solid Work Organization & Time Management Skills.
- Maintains a strong work ethic with an attention to detail & a good eye for accuracy.

Qualifications / Requirements:

- Minimum College Diploma required (or related working experience), ideally in an engineering or technical discipline. Equivalent relevant Manufacturing Quality Work Experience will be considered.
- Good Communication Skills (listening, verbal, reading, & written).
- Basic Mathematical Skills; familiarity with the Imperial and Metric System.
- Computer literacy; sound knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, & MS Office including MS Excel. Ideally, prior experience with statistical software (Minitab) & SAP is an asset.
- Prior training in & experience with World Class Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, 5S, Six Sigma, & Lean Manufacturing preferred. Ideally, American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certification is an asset

**Salary**: From $21.00 per hour
