**Overview**
**Duties**
- Preparing dough, sauces, and various toppings, such as tomatoes, peppers, mushrooms, onions, and meats.
- Monitoring oven temperature as well as cooking times.
- Preparing high-quality pizzas according to our recipes.
- Monitoring inventory and placing orders for more supplies as needed.
- Cleaning workstations before food preparation.
- Ensuring that all utensils and cooking equipment are sterilized before each use.
- Plating or packaging pizzas accordingly.
- Managing all food order slips and ensuring that customers’ orders are completed in a timely manner.
- Disposing of expired or spoiled ingredients at the end of each shift.
- Assisting other cooks to ensure that food orders are completed in a timely manner.
- Ensures all kitchen areas are kept organized and clean, including storage shelves, hallways.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred
- Efficiently resolving problems with customers’ orders.
- The ability to follow recipes.
- The ability to work in a team.
- The ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Effective communication skills.
- A minimum of 3 years experience in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen operation is required.
