Tactical Security Guard

**Job description**

G Force Security is looking for security professionals that possess excellent customer service and communication skills. You should be a reliable person, able to work during shifts when other employees are off. We are looking for individuals that can work during the day and evening shifts, with the ability to work any shift that needs done.

This position requires periods of standing, completing incident reports, conducting access control duties, conducting interior and exterior patrols, and assisting visitors and public as required.
- Full-time availability to work all days of the week and schedules will consist of afternoons, and evening shifts.
- Great Physical fitness: A good officer needs to portray a clean professional image.
- Customer service-driven individual
- Must be able to stand for up to 8-10 hours.
- Clear English communication skills in all areas (verbal and written)
- Detailed and thorough record-keeping (Memo book, incident reports, etc.)
- Keen observation and attentiveness
- Decision Making, Reliable, Common Sense, and exceptional judgment.
- Able to work as a team.
- Working knowledge of Trespass to Property Act and Criminal Code of Canada

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Provide outstanding and personalized customer service as a front-line representative.
- Assist with any questions from members of the public coming onto the premises and direct them to the appropriate group/individual, as required.
- Enforce property rules and regulations and the Trespass to Property Act to maintain the security and safety of our clients and their assets.
- Oversee the logging in and out of site equipment.
- Respond to all emergencies (medical, building, etc.)
- Ensure that safety and emergency protocols are completed in response to Fire Alarms and other Site Emergencies
- Complete walking patrols, vehicle patrols, and inspections of facilities and equipment and report any hazards, deficiencies, etc. to ensure safety and security.
- Review, know and follow post orders as identified for site representation.
- Maintain a safe working environment and follow the facilities health and safety procedures.
- Duties as otherwise assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid Ontario Security License
- Valid First Aid/CPR Certification
- Valid WHMIS Certification
- **The Use of Force is an asset.**:

- Secondary School Diploma or equivalent and higher (preference will be given to those with a Criminal Justice, Law, and Security, Police Foundations, or similar post-secondary education)

Compensation:

- **The pay rate will be up to $17.00 per hour.**
