During this internship you will help with configuration management on different project and product platform, collect and analyze configuration data from key stakeholders and assist with implementation and best practice documentation for new functionalities within our PLM platform.
**This internship has a start date of mid-May and ends in mid-late August 2024.**
**Responsibilities**:
**About the role - you'll need to**:
- Assists in day to day configuration management activities related to identification, control, release, and status accounting for engineering documents in accordance with customer contractual requirements and Company policy.
- Participates in reviewing engineering documentation changes with engineering, quality assurance, and manufacturing to ensure compliance with configuration management and customer requirements, and company policy.
- Participates in developing training and supporting documentation for new employees.
**Required Skills**:
**About you - you'll need**:
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Mechanical or other relevant Engineering field (3rd year student) or pursuing a diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology or any other relevant field.
- Enthusiastic team player with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Well-developed computer skills including Word and Excel. Previous experience with CAD a plus.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well effectively and collaboratively with others in the organization.
- Strong attention to detail and a desire to learn.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Ability to pass a background check.

You will work closely with an accomplished leader with significant industry experience and be the SME on a team of passionate and driven individuals who are making a difference for our modern-day war fighters, law enforcement, and EMS.
