**:
The Jazz Lebourgneuf is a warm and pleasant residence which is happy to welcome just over 225 autonomous residents and those with a slight loss of autonomy. We are currently looking for a talented auxiliary nurse who cares about the health of residents for a 24-hour day position. including 1 fds/2. The care team administers the medication and ensures that resident files are updated in the SYMO computer tool. They respond to emergencies and work closely with the head of health services and other departments (kitchen, dining room, maintenance, reception, etc.) Take blood samples.
**ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Adhere to standards and regulations in accordance with private seniors' home certification and employer policies
- Administer medication in accordance with safety principles and the codes of ethics
- Create and maintain metuculous notes in the residents Dossier in accordance with the requirements of the Ordre des Infirmiers et Infirmières auxiliaires du Québec (OIIAQ)
- Help maintain the relationship of trust with residents' family and friends as well as with various stakeholders (CLSC, CSSS, etc.)
- Respond to all emergency situations
- Upon request by the residents doctor or pharmacist, update the residents medical dossiers and prescriptions
- While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.
**EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS**:
- A proffesional studies dimploma (DEP) in health care assistance, nursing
- PDSB training
- Up to date CPR / AED training certificates
- Member of the OIIAQ
