**We are currently recruiting for a Client Care Specialist / Veterinary Assistant position.**

We are looking for an experienced veterinary assistant, who is able to effectively multitask and work efficiently in a fast paced environment. Our clinic is a 7 doctor practice which also takes on referrals for specialty services (Ultrasonography, Orthopedic Surgery, & Canine Rehabilitation).

**In this role, you will be responsible for**:

- Providing an amazing client and pet experience in clinic
- Providing client education on nutrition, parasite prevention, medication, pet behaviour, new products and services
- Providing patient care and triaging of appointments as they arrive
- Serving as liaison between clients and other team members to ensure responsiveness and quality client service
- Potential for cross-training in the treatment area of the hospital
- Participating in Continuing Education for our AAHA Accreditation

**Qualifications**:

- Excellent communication skills
- Strong client service and relationship-building skills in a clinic environment
- Able to multi-task with different programs in a fast, consistent work environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in either an animal health care setting or client service-based industry
