Description

By joining our Structural Engineering team, you’ll be required to work with multidisciplinary teams on one or more projects, carrying out consulting engineering tasks such as design studies and preliminary and detailed engineering.

More specifically, you’ll be asked to guide and supervise a team of technicians in executing projects while coordinating work with interrelated disciplines.

**By joining our team, you’ll be required to**:
Guide the team of project technicians to ensure work is well organized and coordinated.
Perform 3D modelling and coordinate information with other engineering disciplines.
Share your knowledge with team members and provide coaching.
Draw concrete and steel structures for projects in the industrial, mining and metallurgy, energy, petrochemical and other industries.
Prepare 3D models and plans using Revit Structure software.
Ensure optimal teamwork when working with engineers.
Occasionally supervise work and perform site surveys.
Collaborate to ensure client satisfaction and maintain close and harmonious relationships with clients and their representatives.

Ability to adapt to client needs during project execution

**Requirements**:
College diploma in Civil Engineering or any relevant equivalent training and experience
At least five years of experience in steel or concrete structural engineering
Knowledge of how to read drawings from other disciplines
Experience carrying out projects in the industrial, mining and metallurgy, energy or petrochemicals sectors
Available to travel occasionally to client sites and offices

**Asset**: knowledge of Revit software

**Asset**: strong knowledge of the 3D environment (BIM and Navisworks)

**Asset**: experience with site supervision

**Asset**: bilingual (English and French)
