Summary

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for promoting the facility and maintaining high standards of professional service and work towards establishing the Marina’s reputation for services and customer relations.
- Oversee the daily work load regarding Haul, Store and Launch Questions on a daily basis.
- Interact and communicate effectively with client (s) on a variety of boating related topics and be able to identify and resolve customer issues.
- Ensure daily check of all equipment is completed by Yard Team Lead and logbooks are current.
- Monitor proper usage and maintenance of all marina equipment.
- Ensure the use of all proper safety gear and techniques are used to reduce accidents.
- Assist the Yard Team Lead with enforcement of consistent attendance and punctuality; ensure all employees adhere to the time keeping system.
- Assist with hiring and training of new employees.
- Keep and maintain records pertaining to the operation ie: maintenance, client files, accounting, inventory, Occupational Health and Safety documents.
- Understands the Vision and Mission of Shining Waters Marine Services and have a commitment to ensuring a positive work climate.
- Coordinate all safety materials and government requirement for job site safety and operation of equipment.
- Respond to wind storm or other emergency events that could damage marina assets or guest property.
- Looks for opportunities to improve the operational aspects of the yard.
- Assist Service Manager & Parts Dept. to improve and make processes more efficient.
- Derive new revenue streams.
- Oversee and approve the implementation and maintenance of marketing programs for the marina.
- Attend weekly management meetings as scheduled.
- Perform other duties assigned by the BOD and implement new directives.
- Assist with payroll during peak season.

Minimum Job requirements
1. Management experience required.

2. At least 3 years of marina experience, with strong knowledge of operations and safety techniques.

3. Sales and marketing experience considered an asset.

**Salary**: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
