Journeyman/woman Parts Technician

Overview: On-Track Railway Operations Ltd. is a railroad material handling company that operates coast to coast and has been serving the industry for over 35 years. Our main facility sits on 160 acres of land located ten minutes north-east from the city of Edmonton in Sturgeon County. We are looking for a positive individual and team player to join our team as a Journeyman/woman Parts Technician.
The ideal person will:
- Have a valid Class 5 drivers license (abstract to be provided with resume)
- Have experience hauling a trailer
- Have forklift experience (certificate preferred)
- Be able to lift 50 lbs
- Be able to pass a pre-employment D & A screen
- Be legally able to work in Canada
- Be self-motivated
- Be able to work independently or in a smaller group setting
- Be able to multitask
- Have knowledge of heavy duty parts and part sourcing /ordering
- Be organized
- Be computer literate (good knowledge of Microsoft Office)
The position includes:
*Ordering and receiving parts in an efficient and timely manner
*Receiving supplies, labelling and storing them according to requirements
*Shipping parts
*Keeping inventory for our on site mechanic and welding shop
To the right person we offer:

- Wages paid bi-weekly by direct deposit, includes benefits and RRSP plan (after 3 months)
Pay: $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
