Woolshed Coffee Company is looking for a Barista to prepare and serve specialty and standard espresso based drinks, tea, baked good as well as coffee related retail products. Barista duties include making fresh, high-quality beverages with great attention to detail. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in a specialty coffee shop; dialling in espresso, adjusting the espresso parameters throughout the day as needed and steaming milk at different consistencies depending on the drink. Ultimately, you’ll ensure we provide an excellent guest experience and will help set the bar for future employees. **Qualifications** - High school diploma or equivalent - Front of house management experience a plus - Positive attitude and good communication skills - Ability to work well with others - Ability to work well under pressure - Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time - Milk steaming experience a major consideration - Being able to "dial-in" espresso a major consideration - Understanding of coffee extraction a major consideration **Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time Part-time hours: 21-40 per week **Salary**: $16.00-$17.00 per hour **Benefits**: - Discounted or free food - Store discount Schedule: - Day shift - Monday to Friday - Morning shift - Weekends as needed Supplemental pay types: - Overtime pay - Tips Work Location: In person
