As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional coffee experience for our customers while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Your role will involve preparing high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring food safety standards are met. **Responsibilities**
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to standard recipes.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for order processing and payment handling.
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and restocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Familiarity with cashiering and POS systems is a plus.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is beneficial.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
- A willingness to help teammates and contribute to a positive work atmosphere.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as necessary.
