**Job Purpose**:
The Integrated Systems Technician I_ _is responsible for the installation and maintenance of all audio, video, Closed Circuit Video Equipment (CCVE) and access control systems, within and outside of Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries properties.

**Responsibilities**:

- Install, maintain, program, repair and upgrade security equipment (access, CCTV, duress, etc.) as directed for all MBLL locations.
- Install, maintain, program, and troubleshoot network switches and peripherals, to maintain the CCTV and Audio-Visual Networks.
- Install, maintain, program and service Intrusion Alarm panels and associated devices at all Liquor, Casinos and Corporate properties.
- Provide technical assistance to end users of alarm systems and Video Recorders for all MBLL properties.
- Inspect overall performance of security systems.
- Verify placement and quality of camera image using surveillance equipment.
- Review the equipment repair service log on a daily basis and perform repairs as required.
- Adjust cameras throughout the facilities as needed.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on doors and hardware, according to set procedures.
- Perform access control/CCVE preventative maintenance and enhancements as per schedule on global sites.
- Perform monthly alarm, duress and holdup testing.
- Build and maintain database for CCVE and access control systems.
- Replace and align bulbs over gaming tables.
- Align gaming tables with CCTV cameras.
- Participate in and complete assigned special projects (e.g., new camera/access control installations, key box installations, intercom enhancement installations, surveillance equipment enhancement, etc.)
- Install and terminate cable for security, audio and video.
- Relocate and remove redundant systems cabling.
- Install IT devices such as Access points etc.
- Install, terminate, and test data cable for ITS throughout the organization.
- Install, terminate, and test fiber optic cable, for Security and ITS networks.
- Other related duties as assigned.

**Primary Qualifications**:

- A certificate in electronics or information technology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- A minimum of two years’ experience in electrical, technical, organizational software and troubleshooting.
- Basic to intermediate networking knowledge required.
- Hold and maintain an Electrician VDV license with the province of Manitoba.
- Intermediate skills in using Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive and Teams).
- Have and maintain a valid Manitoba Class 5 Drivers License.
- WHIMIS knowledge & training, Manitoba Safety Council Forklift certification, and Scissor-Manlift & Boom-Safe Lift truck operation training.
- Demonstrated ability to work with mínimal or no supervision and as part of a team.
- Continuous upgrading & learning is required to stay current with new technology and changes in the profession.

These competencies are deemed important for the success of the position and organization.
- Satisfactory work performance in the preceding twelve (12) months is a requirement. Attendance rate will be a factor in the pre-screening process.

**Secondary Qualifications**:

- Bilingual (French/English) language skills.
- Knowledge of trade skills (carpentry and construction) would be an asset.
