**Position: Level 2 Dental Assistant (Full-Time)**

**What We’re Looking For**:
A motivated, experienced, certified Level 2 Dental Assistant who:
- Holds a valid **Certified Dental Assistant Level II (CDA II)** credential and Ontario Dental Assistants’ Association (ODAA) membership in good standing.
- Is certified by National Dental Assisting Examining Board (NDAEB) and/or meets the intra-oral expanded function requirements for Level 2.
- Has 1 **years** of experience in a dental practice, preferably including restorative, surgical.
- Is skilled in digital radiography, impressions, intra-oral photography, and infection-control protocols.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable interacting with patients of all ages, and works well within a team.
- Is proficient with dental software (e.g., scheduling/charting) and keeps operatory and tool readiness at a high standard.
- **Has a current CPR/First Aid certificate.**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Chair-side assisting for a variety of procedures (general, restorative, surgical, orthodontic)
- Preparing and turning over operatories, sterilizing instruments and maintaining stringent infection-control standards
- Taking and processing radiographs/photographs, taking impressions and/or scans when required
- Managing supplies, stocking operatories, and ensuring efficient clinical workflow
- Educating patients on home-care, pre-/post-operative instructions and maintaining patient comfort and confidence
- Collaborating with dentists, hygienists, and office staff to support excellent patient care
- Maintaining accurate patient charts, digital records and following privacy & compliance protocols
